Train your ear for numbers in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Catalan, Chinese, Japanese and Korean

Numbers are the part of a new language that goes by too fast. You know them on paper, and then somebody says a price or a phone number out loud and it is gone before you have caught the first half.

Setenta trains exactly that. It says a number aloud and you type what you heard. A round is ten numbers; get one wrong and it shows you what you typed beside what it said, and lets you hear it again.

What it says

Numbers on their own, prices, times, dates, years and phone numbers, each written the way that country writes it: cents after the comma or the point, the day before the month or after it.

Spanish (Spain or Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil or Portugal), Italian, French (France or Quebec), English (United States or United Kingdom), German (Germany or Austria), Catalan, Chinese (Mandarin, mainland China or Taiwan), Japanese and Korean. The app itself is in nineteen languages.

At your pace

Play a number again, or play it slower. Ask for a hint and it shows the next key to press. Each kind of number levels up on its own as you get it right, and Progress keeps your streak and how you are doing with each kind.

Private by design

Setenta collects no data. There is no account and no sign-in, it works offline, and your settings and progress stay on your device.

Please note

Every exercise is a number spoken aloud, so Setenta needs sound and does not work for deaf people. It speaks with your device's own voices; if one is missing, the app's "No sound?" button says how to add it.
